New "high-gradient" solid core
A completely new dual core in the new Pro V1x is built to be firmer on the outside and progressively softer on the inside. This promotes fast speeds and low spin in the long game. The new cores are inspired by popular custom performance options - Pro V1x Left Dash - both of which feature such high strength gradient cores and are chosen by various players on the pro tours.
New size ratio of the dual core
The design of the Pro V1x 2023 has changed. The inner core has been increased by 44%, from 1" to 1.13" in size. The larger and softer core helps to reduce spin in the long game and increase stability in the air.
High-flex cover layer
The Pro V1x's mantle layers interact with the high-gradient cores to neutralise excess spin, while combining with the soft moulded urethane/elastomer™ shell for incomparable spin and control around the green.
Duroplastic Urethane/Elastomer™ Shell
The patented urethane/elastomer shells of Pro V1x Golf Balls are made from 2 components in Titleist's proprietary process and poured into Titleist's proprietary shell moulds that form the Dimple pattern of the shell. The temperature and exact timing of the curing process are critical to the durability and performance golfers experience on the course.
Spherically arranged tetrahedron Dimple designs
With a 388 Dimple design on the Pro V1 and a 348 Dimple design on the Pro V1x, both golf ball models have aerodynamics optimised for their respective requirements to fly smoothly and far. The Dimple pattern of the Pro V1x allows the ball to launch and fly in a slightly higher window than the Pro V1.
