Putter Scotty Cameron Super Select Newport 2.5 Plus 2023
The Super Select Newport 2.5 Plus has the same MOI-enhancing head shape as the Super Select Newport 2 Plus and also features Scotty's new I-Beam style moulded jet neck, which increases toe flow when putting. With the wider flange, this is another tour-inspired shape that introduces the next profile in high-performance blade design. The Newport 2.5 Plus is milled in the USA from 303 stainless steel, has a solid clubface and an integrated sole plate made from 6061 aircraft grade aluminium that is anodised in a clear finish and features the series graphics. A milled flange sight line ensures clean alignment, while customisable stainless steel sole weights provide balance. The putter features the series' new shaft band, head cover and textured Pistolini Plus grip. A Super Select Newport 2.5 Plus model for left-handers is also available.
MOI IMPROVING "PLUS" DESIGN
The new Super Select Newport 2.5 Plus has been designed in an innovative size between the width of the Newport 2 and the wider Squareback 2, with weight strategically distributed around the circumference of the putter head to increase MOI.
MULTI-MATERIAL CONSTRUCTION
The Super Select Newport 2.5 Plus extends Scotty Cameron's proven construction method of using complementary materials to achieve desired performance characteristics. Each "Plus" model features a precision milled 6061 aircraft grade aluminium sole plate expertly machined into the 303 stainless steel putter head for proper weight distribution, balance and feel.
