The Super Select Newport 2, Scotty Cameron's iconic heel and toe weight putter shape, has been redesigned for 2023 and is the flagship of the most advanced blade line to date. The Newport 2 is milled in the USA from 303 stainless steel with customisable tungsten sole weights. It retains its tri-sole design, features the Tour-inspired I-Beam neck and introduces the new Dual Milled Face technology, a milling process inspired by the deep milled models, but with a second milling pass to smooth out the grooves on the clubface and provide the feedback familiar from medium milled putters. The Super Select Newport 2 continues the new graphics, shaft band, club bonnet and new textured Pistolini Plus grip. The Super Select Newport 2 model is also available for left-handers.
NEW I-BEAM PLUMBING NECK
The new precision moulded necks give each model a racier, industrial look, but also allow for the removal and targeted transfer of weight from the neck to the heel and toe of the putter head. Coupled with a strategically placed notch on the plumbing neck models - for precise lie adjustments - and Scotty's larger signature milled dots in the pocket, additional weight could be carefully redistributed to improve performance.
