The new Phantom X 9 putter from Scotty Cameron is more compact than the Phantom X 11 and was inspired by the Phantom X 5. It's new shape offers a particularly pleasing appearance in the approach position. With a precision milled stainless steel face and wings surrounding an aluminium sole, the unique mallet profile delivers a 'connected' look at approaching, excellent alignment and a high MOI in a tidy, compact shape. The putter offers great stability during the stroke and instils confidence in the player with its single bend shaft and single line of sight. The new sole design is balanced on the X when the putter is stationary. Each face has been given a sleek, glare-reducing finish that exudes elegance. New textured grip The Pistolero Plus handle has been given a new texture for the 2022 version, which is non-slip and decorative. Like its predecessors, the grip has been tapered downwards, resulting in an ideal combination of size, feel and feedback. Easy alignment The tidy topline, combined with a single milled line on the top, allows the racket to be optimally aligned with the ball. This is particularly successful when the discreet markings milled into the metal are also included. The stepless shaft was designed to minimise clubface rotation or the arc in the shot.
