Approach S60 comes with maps for more than 40,000 golf courses worldwide pre-installed. Updates to the most frequently played courses can be downloaded automatically when the device is synchronised with Garmin Connect.
Get exact distances to any position on the green and use the PlaysLike distance to adjust distances for uphill and downhill. So you can always choose the right golf club. The Touch Targeting feature is also very useful: tap on a point on the map to get an accurate measurement of that point, including fairway, bunker, water hazards and more.
The flag in view
In the green view, you can see the shape of the green no matter where you are on the course. Also move the position of the flag manually to the correct position of the day to increase accuracy. The PinPointer function even shows the direction to the flag, helping you with blind shots.
Who is the best?
With the Garmin golf app, you can play against other golfers on over 40,000 courses or see how you compare to your friends. For each course there is a separate leaderboard of the week in which everyone can participate. Create your own tournament and invite other players to participate. With the Approach S60 you can see your scores being displayed live in the leaderboard during the round.
