The TaylorMade Spider EX Platinum Putter is designed for easier aim, better feel, and improved stability. Easy Aim and Alignment The True Path Alignment Aid is visually designed to make aiming easier. The reflective white colour provides a clear focal point, making the shot and path of the ball more visible. Along with the two lines and three dots, it frames the ball to promote a consistent address position. Stability and Feel TaylorMade's Fluted Feel Shaft features a softer section located 5" from the toe. With material cut-outs in this area, it improves feel while providing the high stability and forgiveness that Spider Putters are known for. Improved Roll The soft TPU Clubface provides clear feedback on which part of the clubface hit the ball. As an update to the popular Pure Roll Technology, TaylorMade introduces the new Pure Roll2 Technology. Supported by aluminium, the eight grooves placed at a 45° angle ensure that the ball is immediately set into a consistent roll from launch. Forgiveness and Consistency The Spider EX Platinum is made from an advanced multi-material construction, allowing for a high MOI of forgiveness. Lightweight aluminium and composite materials create better performance advantages around the perimeter of the head. Heavy tungsten in the rear weights creates a low centre of gravity for better distance control, while steel is embedded in the heel and toe area of the frame for optimum stability. Head Shape Slightly more streamlined compared to the Spider X, the head design features softer lines and a more rounded back. Overall, the head size of the Spider EX Platinum is slightly larger than the Spider X. Specifications:
