The Mizuno JPX-921 Hot Metal irons combine the highest ball speeds ever achieved by Mizuno with a penetrating straight ball flight and controllable landing angles. The third generation of Mizuno irons to utilize the resilience of Chromoly, the JPX-921 feature the most complex blade geometry yet - for extra energy from the clubface. Fast Chromoly The third generation of Chromoly designed and built irons. The revised CORTECH face is now 0.2 mm thinner in the center. Seamless cup face A new sole design with variable thickness allows the leadine edge to act like a hinge. This leads to greater flexibility of the clubface and higher ball speed. harmonic impact Three additional sound ribs for a more solid feel. Pearl Brush finish The matte finish avoids reflections over the ball. Stability Frame Additional perimeter weighting with a tendency towards the club tip for more stability on off-center hits.
