The Approach S40 shows you all the important distances to hazards and to the green. It automatically records your shot distances and tracks your shot positions on the golf course. With a battery life of up to 20 hours, you are perfectly equipped for your golf weekend. The Garmin Golf app offers live scoring, automatic scorecard uploads and the option to view all statistics in real time during the game – and also after the round on your compatible smartphone. Thanks to the additional smartwatch functionality, you can wear this golf watch all day long. It also stores your activities.

AutoShot game recording (2) automatically records the position and distance of detected shots1 on the fairway for post-round analysis in the Garmin Golf app.
The Approach CT10 golf sensors complement the integrated AutoShot functionality provided by the Approach S40 watch, giving you a complete overview of the game. These can easily be attached to your clubs and linked to the Approach S40, they allow you to save all shots (including putts and chip shots) and display statistics for stroke lengths and accuracy to the fairway or to the green.
Lie and ball contact can affect the golf shot recording. Putts are not saved. Some shots, especially chip shots on the green, may not be saved.

Keep the flag in sight
Thanks to the GreenView display you can see the shape of the green no matter where you are on the course. You can also manually move the flag to the correct position for the relevant day to ensure more precise distances and greater accuracy.

Everything under control
Synchronise the Approach S40 with your compatible smartphone and receive smart notifications for incoming calls, SMS messages, emails and other alarms directly on your wearable device.

More fun and tournaments
Download the Garmin Golf app to participate in leaderboards on our 41,000 golf courses. You can also create small tournaments in the app, and compete against friends or other golfers from all over the world. Thanks to live scoring, automatic uploads and real-time golf statistics, you can also keep track of all your statistics during or after your round. The Approach S40 GPS golf watch has a fitness tracker with features to motivate you to stay fit every day (including inactivity status, vibration alerts, calorie consumption and step counter). All fitness tracker statistics are collected, so you can view and analyse them in the Garmin Connect online community.
