Cobra King F9 Speedback Driver

The Cobra KING F9 SPEEDBACK driver features the groundbreaking SPEEDBACK technology, which for the first time in golf successfully combines a highly aerodynamic club head shape with a low centre of gravity. The result is a highly efficient energy transfer to the ball.
The use of a CNC precision milled club face allows for a thinner club face design that increases ball speed by up to 1.5 mph compared to a traditionally manufactured, hand polished club face. These technologies merge into the ultimate formula for speed and extreme length.

The KING F9 SPEEDBACK driver consists of a lightweight 460 cc 8-1-1 titanium club head. This weight saving makes it possible to position the centre of gravity low and deep. COBRA's patented E9 technology allows for a club face with variable thickness, thus creating more hotspots further away from the centre to maximise distance even with off-centre strikes.

The Dual Roll technology also optimises the upper and lower wing curvature to minimise the gear effect, which has a negative impact on launch angle and spin in case of mishits.
Three horizontal curvatures have been developed to optimise the angle of the club face at the toe and heel and to minimise slice and hook tendencies in case of off-centre strikes.

The KING F9 SPEEDBACK has an adjustable weight system (with interchangeable weights of 14 g and 2 g) that allows the centre of gravity to be moved to the front or rear position. This allows golfers to individually adjust their launch angle and spin rate in favour of more length.

The MyFly8® with Smart Pad® technology offers golfers a choice of eight loft settings (including 3 draw positions) to precisely match the trajectory and launch angle, while Smart Pad ensures a straight club head for response.
