The Great Big Bertha fairway woods offer exceptional ball speed and forgiveness with a unique titanium face and titanium body. Normally intended for drivers, titanium offers significant weight and strength advantages over traditional steel fairway woods for increased distance. The industry-leading, AI-engineered titanium clubface and batwing technology jailbreak provide more speed on the clubface. Plus, the Triaxial Carbon Crown and forged carbon sole shift weight to where it's needed most effectively to improve forgiveness and launch. Lightweight power thanks to titanium face & body Titanium, which is normally only used for drivers, gives the Great Big Bertha a significant weight and strength advantage over a conventional steel fairway wood. By using a titanium face and body, 53% of the total weight of the club head is accounted for by weight. This weight saving allows us to create a larger, more forgiving footprint and an ultra-low centre of gravity that steel does not allow. Fast ball speed thanks to an A.I. designed face cup made of titanium & Jailbreak with Batwing technology The titanium face is uniquely optimised for each fairway wood through artificial intelligence to improve ball speed and spin consistency in a high performance design. Our Jailbreak with Batwing Technology provides more stability at the edge of the club head while allowing the face to flex across the entire face for high ball speeds. More forgiveness thanks to the multi-material construction The Great Big Bertha offers exceptional forgiveness. It starts with a lighter, stronger triaxial carbon crown that allows for significant weight savings. The forged carbon sole also contributes to the weight savings and shifts the centre of gravity to create a slight draw bias. With all the extra weight, engineers have used 50g of tungsten inside the club and a 15g steel plate on the sole to provide a lighter and higher launch. Increased control of the ball flight Great Big Bertha fairway woods have an adjustable hosel. This allows loft, trajectory and control to be optimised for even more versatility.
